DEFENSIVE PISTOL

This 8-Hour entry level course is designed to make you effective with your weapon in a real world gunfight. The course will start with developing the fundamentals of gunfighting. It is ideal for new or experienced shooters who have never learned modern tactical or combat shooting techniques. You will learn the essential fundamentals of combat shooting with realistic live fire scenarios that will instill confidence and a fighting, never give up mindset.
 
Our Defensive Pistol course covers, but is not limited to: 
Safety
Fundamentals of real world shooting
Combat marksmanship
Grip, Stance, Sight Picture, Sight Alignment, breathing and Trigger Control
Ready positions
Drawing from the holster
Recoil management
Multiple shots
Real world defensive scenarios
Tactical use of cover/concealment ​
 
Required Gear: 
Handgun Holster (No Blackhawk Serpa holsters )
Minimum three high-capacity (15+ round) magazines or six low-capacity (7-8 rd) magazines
Magazine holders
Belt
Face covering or mask
Wraparound ballistic eye protection
Ear protection
Clothing appropriate for climate and conditions
A water bottle or other hydration system
300-500 rounds of quality handgun ammunition. No reloads please.​ (More bullets means more shooting)
 
 
Prerequisites: Basic pistol / Gun Safety course
