Dealing with Problems
There are generally 3 kinds of problems.
Problems due to your own weakness, foolishness, or sloth These are the only generally avoidable problems, which include innocent mistakes and errors in judgment. They also embrace any integrity issue. Not being able to say No will result in many problems, and unnecessary ones:
Problems that come just from living Your environment can change, evil happens, and God may test or discipline you.
Problems that arise by setting high goals. One can provide his own opposition, their own testing ground, by setting worthy and difficult goals for themselves.
If you can't define it or act upon it — forget it. Before spending time on a stress-inducing question, big or otherwise, ensure that the answer is "yes" to the following two questions:
1. Have I decided on a single meaning for each term in this question?
2. Can an answer . . . be acted upon to improve things? If you can't define it or act upon it, forget it.
